CLS Brasil is a Brazilian technology-based company working in offshore oceanography, coastal areas, water bodies, environment, and telecommunications.

We aim to develop products and services that offer sustainable solutions to our clients, implementing environmentally responsible actions.

We are recognized as a reference company in oceanographic and environmental consulting and research, as well as telecommunications solutions, continually seeking the development of innovative solutions for our clients and society in general.

Who Are We

Founded in 2004 in Rio de Janeiro, as a spin-off from research labs in ocean modeling, CLS Brasil mainly serves the offshore Oil & Gas industry in operational oceanography, data collection, numerical modeling, environmental risk analysis, and ocean data analysis.

CLS Brasil also has a strong presence in Research, Development, and Innovation, having led and participated in various R&D projects funded by companies and institutions in collaboration with national and international universities and research institutes. Currently, we are expanding our activities to telemetry and maritime safety solutions.

Since 2012, it has been part of the international CLS Group, headquartered in Toulouse, France. CLS, a subsidiary of the French Space Agency (CNES) and Compagnie Nationale à Portefeuille (CNP), is a globally recognized company providing space-based monitoring and surveillance solutions. The group operates in 5 strategic areas: sustainable fisheries management, environment, maritime surveillance, mobility, and energies and infrastructures.
