Prooceano was founded in Rio de Janeiro with. The main areas of focus were numerical modeling, data analysis, and environmental risk analysis.

2012

Prooceano joins the CLS group

Prooceano became part of the International CLS Group, headquartered in Toulouse, France.

CLS Brasil expands its offshore activities

Operational Forecasting, Emergency Services, Oceanographic and Environmental Monitoring, and Research and Development became part of the company’s portfolio.

2023

Acquisition of SAT ONE and PRIME

CLS acquired the assets of the Brazilian companies PRIME and SATONE, specializing in merchant fleets and supporting offshore activities.
These strategic acquisitions strengthen CLS’s position as a global leader in maritime surveillance.

Prooceano became CLS Brasil

Prooceano became CLS Brasil, merging with 2 other Brazilian companies. We expanded our focus to include telemetry and maritime safety.
